The good stuff happens at the edges of the schedule.
Weddings, receptions, concerts, and community gatherings. We shoot documentary style: quiet, patient, and close enough that the camera disappears into the room. You end up with candid moments, the wide scene, and the portraits worth keeping, delivered as one coherent set rather than a folder of loose frames.

A boudoir session at Thistle & Iron is an appointment with yourself. Wardrobe guidance, a setting you choose, and a photographer who works at your pace. The result is a set of images that feel like you at your most confident, on your own terms, seen through an editor's eye rather than a filter.

Scouting, timing, and logistics are handled before the camera comes out, so you know exactly what happens when.
